When The Walls Close In
(L: Cimetta; M: Cimetta)

Out here there's a phobia
And every man will someday need a
Hand to guide him through these bitter fields.
Mistakes prove costly there's no doubt
I've set the fire and shut them out
The worst fear I have felt is now revealed.

And sometimes there is a light beyond our outer sky
That cuts through the question why.
The beginning was the end and the end was a start to what's next
Oh yes, the end begins again.

In distant sight there is a calling
Help me now before I'm crawling
All alone no one hears my screams.
Solitude has become me
The outside world now so empty
What is left for beauty but a dream?

When the walls close in on me
And the end's here suddenly
This just can't be reality
Open my eyes but still can't see
When these walls close in on me
When these walls close in on me

Once a friend now a stranger
Lost in a maze of constant danger
The ending brings no hope for I have plead.
First we live then we die.
What's in between a written lie?
The words that I've repeated in my head.

Chorus, Solo, Bridge

The blind man hears, the deaf man sees
Looking up down on my knees
I never knew that death could be so sure.
Agony, a common feeling,
Tragedy, a falling ceiling,
All these thoughts and crimes must have a cure.
